*📢 AN OPEN PROTEST STATEMENT FROM THE PEOPLE OF WARD A1*

We, the residents and stakeholders of Ward A1, strongly reject the sham process that took place during the recent election exercise in our Ward.

What was supposed to be a free and fair democratic process turned into a charade. Voting was abruptly halted in the middle of counting without any cogent reason. The results were neither announced nor properly collated. Agents and canvassers were mysteriously absent or denied the opportunity to effectively participate, leaving no verifiable records of the votes cast.

This is not democracy. This is a deliberate attempt to subvert the will of the people.

We demand:

Immediate investigation by INEC and the relevant authorities into the happenings in Ward A1.

Full disclosure of all records and footage from the exercise.

Cancellation of the flawed process and conduct of a fresh, transparent election in Ward A1.

The people of Ward A1 will no longer tolerate imposition and electoral fraud. Our votes must count!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

In Ward A1, there was NO free and fair election. Counting was stopped midway on instruction, results were never announced, and no proper records exist. Agents and canvassers were sidelined.

This is a daylight robbery of our democratic rights.

We call on INEC, the Presidency, and all relevant authorities to immediately investigate and nullify the process in Ward A1. A fresh election must be conducted!

The people are watching. Our voices will not be silenced.

A CRY FOR JUSTICE FROM WARD A1 COMMUNITY

Fellow Nigerians, especially sons and daughters of Ward A1,

Today we stand united as one voice. What happened in our Ward during the election was a total disgrace to democracy. The voting exercise lacked transparency, credibility, and fairness. Counting was halted abruptly, agents were absent or powerless, and till this moment, no official results or records have been released.

This is not how elections should be conducted in our nation.

We are law-abiding citizens who only ask for one thing: Let our votes count!

We therefore demand the immediate intervention of INEC and the Presidency to:

Investigate the irregularities in Ward A1.

Declare the process inconclusive and nullify any imposed outcome.

Order a fresh, credible election monitored by all stakeholders.

Ward A1 will not be silenced. We stand together for justice and transparency.
