We, the people of Ward A1, Ikorodu Lagos , reject in its entirety the flawed and illegitimate electoral process conducted in our Ward A1.

It is on record that:

No INEC official from the headquarters or any senior staff from the head office was present on ground. Yet the process was allowed to proceed.

During the exercise, party agents were instructed to produce sheets of paper to manually record results, a clear deviation from standard procedure.

The agent representing *Hon. Abdulkareem Olugbenga Shittu* refused to comply, rightly noting that no official agent of the aspirant was physically present.

Counting was abruptly stopped midway while *Hon. Shittu’s votes* were being tallied.

Officials then attempted to announce results without the consent or participation of the affected agent, coordinators, and other stakeholders.

This is not an election, It is a premeditated subversion of the democratic will of the people.

We demand:

Immediate intervention by INEC headquarters and the Presidency.

Full investigation into the absence of proper INEC officials and the irregularities observed.

Nullification of the entire process in Ward A1 due to fundamental breaches.

Conduct of a fresh, transparent, and credible election with full INEC oversight and all stakeholders present.

Ward A1 will not accept any imposed outcome. Our mandate must be respected!

We call on INEC and the Presidency to immediately investigate and cancel the sham process in Ward A1. A fresh election with proper oversight is the only solution.

Fellow residents of Ward A1 and well-meaning Nigerians,

What happened in our Ward cannot be allowed to stand. There were no INEC officials from the headquarters present, yet the so-called election went ahead.

When agents were strangely asked to bring out sheets of paper to record results, the agent of Hon. Abdulkareem Olugbenga Shittu refused — because no legitimate agent for the aspirant was even on ground.

Despite this, counting was halted midway on Hon. Shittu’s votes, and attempts were made to announce results without the consent of agents, coordinators, and other stakeholders.

This is a clear violation of every principle of free and fair election.

We stand together and demand:

Immediate investigation by INEC headquarters

Cancellation of the flawed exercise in Ward A1

A new, transparent election with proper INEC presence and full stakeholder participation

Ward A1 deserves better. Our votes must count!
