The military eliminates infamous bandit commanders

 


Ali Alhaji Alheri, also referred to as Kachalla Ali Kawaje, was a renowned bandit leader who planned the abduction of female Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) students together with construction workers. He has since passed away.

According to a Radio Nigeria correspondent assigned to Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD), the infamous Bandit Ali Kawaje and his foot soldiers were murdered by a Nigerian Air Force airstrike on Monday, December 11, 2023.

According to a senior military commander in the OPHD, Kachalla Kawaje perished in Niger State as a result of the NAF's aerial strike.

He further mentioned that on December 6, 2023, several infamous bandits and kingpins were slain when a NAF airstrike struck the camps of Ali Kachalla and Dogo Gide.

Dan Muhammadu, a specialist in kidnapping and assault inside Dogo Gide's organisation, and Machika, the younger brother of Gide and an IED manufacturer trained by Ansaru, a prominent leader in Gide's group known as Haro, were also slain.

The places where the bandits leaders that were killed were believed to be hibernating were Kainji Lake National Park in Mashegu, Magama, and Borgu Local Government Areas of Niger State; Kamuku National Park in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State; and Kuyambana Game Reserve I in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
